Takuya TK Akiyama x 秋山卓哉
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington.
Despite the myriad ways I could describe myself, it would take all too much time and space for me to say it all. Therefore, I try to illustrate my work ethic with three words, which I feel are extremely telling of who I am as well.
Experienced. I started with a point and shoot digital camera at 15 years old. The best way to describe how I felt when I had my first camera is to equate it to when Harry Potter held his first wand at Ollivander's Wand Shop. I immediately fell in love with capturing how the light hit the world around me. It's been over 10 years since I began and I've immensely grown as a photographer in that time. I look forward for the future to come and continue my journey.
Efficient. I would not be the photographer I am today without my clients. They, and you, are the foundation of my work. So it's important to work with efficiency not only to satisfy my clients but wow them with the speed of my work without compromising quality.
Enjoy! I wouldn't be doing the work I do if I didn't have fun doing it. Not many are able to make their passion their occupation and I am lucky to say that I do. To say I'm ardent about my work is an understatement. I hope that all I work with can have fun with me.
